Maintenance & Operating Limits

To ensure the longevity of the TFC material, the following limits must be observed:

• Chlorine Tolerance: Feedwater must contain <0.1 ppm free chlorine; a carbon pre-filter is mandatory to prevent membrane oxidation.

• SDI Limit: Feedwater Silt Density Index (SDI) must be ≤ 5.

• pH Range: Continuous operation between pH 3 and 10; cleaning range between pH 2 and 12.

• Storage: The element is vacuum-sealed with a 1.0% sodium bisulfite solution to prevent biological growth during transit.
