How It Works

• Controlled Release: The dispenser slowly releases chlorine into the stored water through exposed apertures.

• The Process: You calibrate the dose by removing the numbered labels. For a 5,000L tank, start with one aperture; the chlorine mixes as water enters and exits the tank.

• The Result: Disinfected water that is protected against bacterial regrowth, ensuring it remains safe for drinking and domestic use.

Maintenance & Testing

To confirm the water is safe, a residual chlorine test must be performed:

• Wait: Allow 48 – 72 hours after installation for the chlorine levels to stabilize.

• Test: Run the tap for 30 – 60 seconds, then fill the included test vial.

• Check: Add one DPD tablet, shake, and wait one minute.

• Read: Any presence of a slight pink color indicates a safe chlorine residual, confirming the water is safe to drink.
