Description

The 2000 GPD (250 LPH) Commercial Reverse Osmosis System is a locally supported, high-performance purification unit. Engineered for durability and consistent output, this skid-mounted system transforms municipal or pre-treated borehole water into high-purity permeate. It is an affordable and efficient solution for small-to-medium enterprises requiring demineralized water for processes, bottling, or pre-treatment.

Features

  • Optimal Flow Rate: Consistent 250 LPH (≈2,000 GPD) output for commercial needs.

  • Integrated Booster Pump: High-efficiency pump ensures optimal operating pressure for maximum TDS rejection.

  • Compact Skid Design: Space-saving and pre-assembled on a corrosion-resistant frame (often SS304).

  • Pressure & Flow Monitoring: Includes pressure gauges and flow meters for easy performance tracking.

  • Safety & Control: Features automatic controls, such as a low-pressure switch, to protect the pump and membranes from damage.

How It Works: The RO Process

Reverse Osmosis operates by utilizing a high-pressure pump to raise the pressure on the raw water side, compelling it to pass through a semi-permeable RO membrane of 0.0001 microns. This process effectively retains approximately 95% to 99% of dissolved minerals, salts, and contaminants in the reject stream, producing clean, high-quality permeate water.

Maintenance

  • Every 6–12 Months: Replace Carbon Block and Sediment pre-filters.

  • Every 12–18 Months: Replace the Reverse Osmosis (RO) Membrane (depending on water quality).

  • Service Tip: Regular maintenance of pre-filters is the most effective way to extend the life of your expensive RO membranes.

Good to Know (Important)

  • Required Pre-treatment: Proper pre-filtration (sediment and carbon) is non-negotiable. If the feed water is hard or contains iron, a water softener or iron removal filter must be installed upstream.

  • Waste Water: RO is a separation process; a portion of the feed water (concentrate) is rejected to the drain, typically at a ratio of 1:1 to 1:2.

  • TDS Limits: Best performance is achieved when feed water TDS is below 2,000 ppm.

  • Variability: Please note that TDS rejection rates and production volumes can differ based on the quality and temperature of the raw water supply.
